Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. marks the start of Juventus’s adventure in the single group stage of the Champions League Women, who at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, the same facility used by the men&#8217s team, will face Benfica with the ambition of getting the European season off to the best possible start and putting behind them the 0-0 league draw against Sassuolo.

Massimiliano Canzi, coach of the Bianconeri, has already put a trophy in her trophy case this year, winning the Serie A Cup Women that preceded the start of the championship. Juventus, after clinching the Scudetto-Coppa Italia double in 2024-2025, aims to win a place in the knockout stage, which escaped last season. 3-4-2-1 is the form of the Bianconeri coach, who relies on Beccari and Cambiaghi in attack, supported by Krumbiegel.

On the other hand, Benfica started the season with a Super Cup defeat against Torreense (1-2) but has already found rhythm in the league, as evidenced by the 5-1 successes against Guimaraes and 8-0 win against Damaiense. The Eagles’coach is Filipa Patao, who will bet barring surprises on a single-pointer lineup, Martin Gutierrez, supported by Davidson, Sousa Alves and Moller.

Probable lineups

JUVENTUS (3-4-1-2): De Jong; Kullberg, Calligaris, Cascarino; Thomas, Libran, Rosucci, Brighton; Krumbiegel; Beccari, Cambiaghi. All. Canzi.

BENFICA (4-2-3-1): Pauels; Lund, Gomes, Costa, Amado; Gasper, Almeida; Davidson, Sousa Alves, Moller; Martin Gutierrez. All. Patao.
