Antonio Faravelli projects himself into the future at the Festival of Connections

Winemaker Antonio Faravelli, soul of Cantine Vitea, was one of the protagonists of the third Festival of Connections – Trajectories, held at Villa Gaia, REA Pavia. The event, curated by Isa Maggi, showed how culture, art and business can intertwine to give new energy to the territory. In this context, Pavia wine was confirmed as a strategic resource to look to the future.
On the occasion of the contemporary art exhibition “For fragments of meaning in our time” curated by Ada Eva Verbena, Faravelli catalyzed attention with a tasting of its award-winning wines, praised for excellence and care. But also surprising was the historical value of some labels: among them, a collection that in the past would have won even the taste of the great Giacomo Puccini.
Projecting into the future, the volcanic manager from Montù Beccaria illustrated the “Golf & Wine 1895” project, an enthusiastically welcomed initiative that aims to relaunch the province of Pavia by combining tourism, food and wine, local production and the promotion of Made in Italy. A development model that starts from the territory, with the aim of making a system around its excellences.
