Carlos Sainz gave a very long interview to the podcast ‘Partidazo de Cope’, taken up by Marca, in which he also talked about his compatriot Marc Marquez, who became MotoGP world champion last September 28 in Motegi, in the Japanese Grand Prix.

“Marc has dominated in an incredible way – said the Williams driver – and, as we are living it in the present, we may not realize it, but the day Marc Márquez retires and the years pass, we will remember him as something like Ayrton Senna in Formula 1, for charisma and everything else”.

“And I already did, but I want to congratulate him again because he had an extraordinary year– added the’former Ferrari -The fall the other day is a shame, hopefully he will recover”.

The Ducati centaur hit his ninth career World Championship, or the same titles as a legend like Valentino Rossi, who had been drastic about his landing at Borgo Panigale. The Cabroncito, back as champion in the premier class, six years after’the last time boasts science-fiction numbers: 11 GPs won, always on the podium in the Sprints except at Misano (in total he won an impressive 14) and very few moments of difficulty (Austin and Jerez).
