Inter, caution for Marcus Thuram: defined the day of possible return

Inter continues to wait for Marcus Thuram, and the picture of the next few weeks ahead of his return to the field is beginning to emerge. The Nerazzurri striker did not leave in the wake of France during this league break for national team commitments, but that has not made his return among the players available to Cristian Chivu any more imminent.
Thuram is struggling with a muscular problem that has prevented him from playing any game for a couple of weeks now and is expected to keep him off the field in the next few. He and Inter, however, have a goal, the viability of which only time will determine: to return available at the end of the month. To be precise, in time for Oct. 25, when the Nerazzurri will travel to Naples to take on the Azzurri of former great Antonio Conte.
The instrumental examinations he underwent in early October verified Thuram’s problem: muscle resentment in the hamstring of his left leg. The French striker has since been kept under close observation by Inter’s medical staff, but recovery for the date initially set for his return seems impossible: the away match at the Olimpico against Roma on Saturday 18.
Another game Thuram is set to miss is the Champions League match against Union Saint-Gilloise’Union Saint-Gilloise. Chivu himself, moreover, does not want to risk rushing his return, even taking into account the fact that both Francesco Pio Esposito and Ange-Yoan Bonny have replaced him so far with great profit. Better then to focus on Napoli, and a match that could prove to be a genuine crossroads of the season.
