"Marc Marquez copied Valentino Rossi": the'former pilot explains the'origin of the rivalry

L’former MotoGP centaur Stefan Bradl, at the microphones of ‘Sport und Talk aus dem Hangar 7’ on Servus tv channel, spoke about the rivalry between Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi, which reachedto an exaggerated level in the middle of last decade and marked the MotoGP world championship forever. “Valentino Rossi gave an incredible boost to our sport and made it popular all over the world”, Bradl began.
“Then came Marquez, who had Rossi himself as an idol…As he raised the bar, their relationship deteriorated”.
According to the German centaur, at the’origin of the Doctor’s annoyance is Marquez’s behavior both in the race and off the track: “Marc copied Valentino in so many things, both in media relations and in motorcycle duels. Valentino did not like this, especially since young Marc was having enormous success”.
.
Then came 2015, which blew it all up: “The ruined world title and the no-holds-barred duels on the track expanded this rivalry even more”.
According to Bradl, after the ninth title Marc Marquez has reached a higher level than Valentino Rossi: “Everyone can see it as they want, but on a sporting level now Marquez seems to me better than Rossi”.
