The market knows no pause: although transfer negotiations are officially at a standstill, clubs are working to arrive prepared for January, not only as far as potential immediate grafts are concerned but also to convince those who, a few months from now, will find themselves without a contract. In this sense, Juventus is sounding out the ground with the entourage of Adin Licina, a right winger (who can also be employed in other attacking roles) on the Bayern Munich team.

The premise is that we need to be prepared for January.

The premise is necessary: the Old Lady has the need to cover its back in case of Kenan Yildiz&#8217s departure, who is of increasing interest to European big names (Manchester United could even attempt the lunge as early as winter). The idea that leads to Licina, as reported by the German portal ‘Absolut Fussball’ is the same one that materialized, starring the Turkish national, in the summer of 2022, when Yildiz wore the Bavarians&#8217 shirt.

Aclass of 2007, born in Germany to Montenegrin parents, Adin Licina is playing his third season in Bayern’s second team, engaged in Bavaria’s Regionalliga, one of the rounds of Germany’s fourth league. The landing at Juventus would be gradual, with inclusion in the Next Gen team (currently in Serie C) and a subsequent move to the first team, modeled after what Yildiz did himself.

The Bianconeri management may possibly move from January, as transfer rules allow players with expiring contracts to agree with a new club as early as six months before the end of their existing deal. The player has never left Monaco, but he could be inspired precisely by Yildiz’s explosion in Turin and consider the possible offer.
