One of the main requests of Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri for the January market is a central defender capable of raising the quality level of the Rossoneri’s backroom. The name of Kim Min-Jae, who was already approached by the Diavolo in the summer, has come back into vogue in the last hours, at the same time as rumors from Germany about the South Korean’s possible farewell to Bayern Munich.

Who arrived in the Bundesliga in 2023 after his triumph at Napoli, Kim failed to settle in Germany and German soccer, and complicit in a series of injuries never managed to perform at his best at Bayern Munich. Now he has lost his starting spot, and according to German media the German champions are ready to sell him if the right offer comes along.

According to rumors, Milan is following the situation of the player, who was already probed last summer. Kim wants to revive himself and would not be averse to a return to Italy, although there&#8217s a major recruitment hurdle.

The South Korean currently earns 12 million euros net per season, a figure well above Milan’s salary cap. The deal remains possible but it is very complex and would require a loan with part of the wages paid by Bayern Munich: a difficult deal, at least as far as the January market is concerned, while in the summer anything could happen, especially if Kim continues to struggle in Munich.
