Vincent Kompany extends with Bayern Munich

Vincent Kompany has extended his contract with Bayern for two seasons: the Belgian coach will remain in Munich until June 2029. The German champions announced this in a statement.

Who arrived in Bavaria in the summer of 2024 alpostof Thomas Tuchel, Kompany brought the club its 34th national title in his first season.

“I am grateful, I feel honored and I would like to thank Bayern for the trust and working environment they have offered me from day one. I feel like I have been here longer” said Kompany.

In the current season, Bayern has consistently won in all competitions: seven Bundesliga wins, two in the Champions League, one in the Cup and the Franz Beckenbauer Super Cup, Kompany’s second trophy since his arrival, for a total of eleven official matches won out of eleven.
