Lorenzo Lucca vents nervousness with a bad gesture: he ends up in the shower

Napoli experienced an evening to forget in Eindhoven, cashing in six goals from the Dutch team and scoring only a couple of them. Lorenzo Lucca also bore his share of responsibility: first he was not very incisive, then he left the team in ten for an exaggerated protest against German referee Sieber.

Even so, the match seemed to be going downhill for Antonio Conte’s men thanks to McTominay’s goal, but all hopes soon collapsed. At 76′, with PSV already clearly in control, Lucca lost his head: after a clash, he turned a provocative gesture toward the referee, touching his temple and saying “you are crazy”. Sieber immediately caught the insult, obviously did not appreciate it, and then showed the red card to the former Udinese striker, who was forced to leave the field.

A misplaced reaction from Lucca that reflects the difficult moment experienced by the player, who arrived to act as a deputy to Romelu Lukaku, found himself further behind in the hierarchies after the arrival of Rasmus Hojlund (who, however, was not available in the Netherlands), and now the subject of new market rumors.
