Gerard Deulofeu has no intention of giving up: moving message to fans

Although away from the playing fields for almost three years, due to the consequences of a major injury suffered in January 2023, Gerard Deulofeu has no intention of giving up and, through an emotionally charged message posted on his social channels, he wanted to thank the fans for their continued support, trusting that one day he will be able to return to show his talent on the field.
“It makes me really happy all the affection you are showing me with your messages of encouragement – wrote the Catalan, now unemployed after the consensual termination of his relationship with Udinese -. The most beautiful thing is to receive them from fans of all the clubs I have played in: it moves me to think that, with my way of playing, I managed to enter your hearts, and that now you reciprocate me with so much love”.
“All this gives me tremendous strength to keep fighting and try to write a page of history with my recovery. Thank you” then concluded Deulofeu, whose last unlucky match, to date, was Udinese’Udinese against Sampdoria on Jan. 22, 2023, in which Deulofei, returning from another knee problem, entered at 77′ only to be forced to leave the field 13 minutes later.
The last game he played in was in Udinese.
A class of 1994, Deulofeu has worn the jerseys of Barcelona (first and second team), Everton, Sevilla, AC Milan, Watford and Udinese in his career, expressing himself at a high level from the point of view of scoring precisely in the bianconero, with 13 goals scored in the 2021-2022 season. His contract with the Friulani was initially set to expire in 2026, but both sides opted for an early exit last January.
