Ligue 1 2025-2026: Brest-PSG, the probable formations

After the debunking victory in the Champions League at home to Bayer Leverkusen (7-2 the final score), PSG is preparing for an away trip in the league as well: at the Stade Francis-Le Blé will be staged on Saturday at 5 p.m. the challenge between the host Brest and the Parisian club, which is looking for important points to put pressure on the leading Marseille.

The time for Champions League qualification at the end of the 2023-2024 season seems long gone for Brest, which, however, after a negative period, bounced back in late September and early October, stringing together four useful results (two wins and two draws). In the last match against Lorient, however, it was not enough to take the lead at’86’ with Castillo&#8217s penalty: at’89’ Soumano mocked Majecki for the 3-3 final.

On the other hand, Luis Enrique&#8217s men lost the top of the league after two draws in a row against Lille (1-1) and Strasbourg (3-3). Against the Alsatians, in particular, it took the comeback signed by Gonçalo Ramos and Mayulu to avoid the second knockout of the season, after the one against De Zerbi&#8217s Olympique. Paris’s goal is to avoid more missteps, while showing more concreteness in defense.

Probable lineups

BREST (4-2-3-1): Majecki; Lala, Chardonnet, Coulibaly, Locko; Chotard, Magnetti; Del Castillo, Doumbia, Ebimbe; Ajorque. All. Roy.

PSG (4-3-3): Chevalier; Hakimi, Zabarnyi, Pacho, Hernandez; Mayulu, Kang-in, Doue; Mbaye, Ramos, Barcola. All. Luis Enrique.
