Lando Norris, pole position ahead of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton

Lando Norris took pole position for the Mexican Grand Prix: the British driver at the’last attempt spoiled the party for a Charles Leclerc who was already looking forward to the best time overall.
Third and then in the second row an excellent Lewis Hamilton, confirming the newfound competitiveness of Ferrari, which on Sunday can dream of breaking the fast from victories that has lasted for a year now.
As for the world title race, of note is Max Verstappen’s fifth place behind George Russell but ahead of the’other Mercedes Kimi Antonelli. Only eighth is Oscar Piastri, who will start seventh by virtue of the five-position penalty to be served by Carlos Sainz.
