When Jannik Sinner plays Jannik Sinner in Vienna finals: background with Zverev

Jannik Sinner returns to the court in Vienna for the final act of the ATP 500 tournament in Austria.
The Azzurro, who faces Germany’s Alexander Zverev, is in the hunt for his fourth ATP title in 2025 after wins at the Australian Open, Wimbledon and the China Open.
Sinner made it to the finals in Vienna by overcoming Altmaier, Cobolli, Bublik, and De Minaur without ever losing a set; Zverev beat Fearnley, Arnaldi, Griekspoor (retired), and Musetti to get a rematch from the Blue. The German tennis player leads with 4 wins and 3 losses his previous record with the South Tyrolean, who won, however, the last two confrontations in 2024 and 2025 (the Melbourne final).
The final in Vienna will be played Sunday starting at 2 p.m. and will be broadcast on Sky Sports channels and streamed on SkyGo and NOW.
“I tried to serve well and play good tennis, I am happy with this final – said the Blue on Saturday.
The Davis? Musetti will definitely do a good job. When I played, I was not alone. It is the whole team coming together. It is a great team”.
