The long race at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit proved challenging for Aprilia Racing, which also had to do without Jorge Martin in Malaysia.

Lorenzo Savadori continued the vital development work on the RS-GP25 in the race and crossed the finish line in 16th position, close to the points zone.

“Too bad because I lost some time at the beginning in the fight with Chantra, because the pace in the first part of the race to stay with the small group was good. Afterwards being in the slipstream, the temperatures went up and the tire dropped. We will continue to try new things and we have ideas that we will try already on the track in Jerez in two days in private testing” he told.

In Sepang it was a real Spanish party, with Alex Marquez winning ahead of compatriots Pedro Acosta and Joan Mir, finally brilliant after so many disappointments.
