Moto 3, Noah Dettwiler in intensive care after horrific crash: father’s words

Anxiety hours for Moto 3 centaur Noah Dettwiler, who was the victim of a terrible crash along with Jose Antonio Rueda on the formation lap of the Malaysian Grand Prix race. The Spanish rider struck the 20-year-old Swiss rider at high speed as he proceeded slowly around the track.
Dettwiler is hospitalized in intensive care and is fighting for his life, reports Blick, which published the words of the centaur’s father: “They fought to save his life. Noah was seriously injured, fortunately he is now in stable condition. But it is too early to declare him out of danger. He suffered several cardiac arrests and lost a lot of blood. His spleen and lungs are also damaged and he has an exposed fracture in his leg”.
All members of the CIP Power team went to’Kuala Lumpur hospital to be close to their driver. This is the team statement: “This morning, during the reconnaissance lap in Sepang, our driver Noah Dettwiler was involved in a serious accident. He was transported to the hospital in Kuala Lumpur, where he will have to undergo several surgeries. He is in good hands and we kindly ask that you respect his privacy. We will not share any further details at this time. Noah is a true fighter, and the entire CIP Green Power team is by his side. We will keep you updated as soon as possible”.
The condition of Rueda, the’other centaur involved in the accident, however, is not serious. “The accident was as horrible as it looked, but we were lucky. Jose Antonio has a fracture in his hand that will be operated on next week in Barcelona. He will stay a few days in the hospital for observation, also because of the concussion” explained Niklas Ajo, owner of the team for which Rueda rides.
