Bellingham and Mbappé knock out Barcelona in the Clasico: Real Madrid on the run

Heavy success for Xabi Alonso’s Real Madrid, who won his first Clasico as coach of the blancos: Barcelona was beaten 2-1 at the Bernabeu in the match valid for the tenth day of La Liga. Start immediately with fireworks, with a penalty awarded to Real and then revoked by Var, and a goal cancelled out to Mbappé for offside. However, the hosts still found the lead on 22′ again with the French star, who was perfectly served by Bellingham past Szczesny in a diagonal pass.
In Real’s best moment, Barcelona managed to equalize at 38′ with Fermin Lopez, who after a nice combination with Rashford made it 1-1. But before halftime the blancos went back ahead again thanks to Bellingham, scoring taking advantage of Militao’s header assist.
In the second half Xabi Alonso’s team has the opportunity to close out the game but misses a penalty kick with Mbappé, hypnotized by Szczesny. However, it is always the hosts who create dangers against a switched-off Barcelona, Bellingham seeing another goal cancelled out. Only in the finale did the Blaugrana increase the pressure, but they could not find the goal.
Real, which has to deal with a Vinicius case (furious over his substitution), flies to +5 over Barcelona and ushers in the first breakaway of the season.
