Roma, Gasperini: "Never had any doubts about Dybala"

Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini enjoys the victory against Sassuolo and the first place in the standings together with Napoli: “I am very satisfied with the position in the standings and today’s match, which was difficult because Sassuolo is doing well. We interpreted it in the best way, after two defeats there was a very good reaction. We won an important match”.
Gasperini applauded Dybala: “I never had any doubts about Paulo, he is an extraordinary player and a striker but not an outside forward: he can play first or second striker”.
Gasperini also saw Dovbyk on the rise:”We needed to keep the forwards more open to take advantage of the midfielders’ insertions. He entered well, he is in a good physical condition. I work on everyone and try to make them improve. He had also given a good ball to Wesley… In attack I am trying to find solutions since there has been a lack of prolificacy, we want to improve again and we are experimenting in matches”.
The goal is to get back to winning ways at the Olimpico: “It“s a shame to have lost so many times in front of our fans. We would like to give them good games and played well. They had not all been bad, I think for example of the one against Inter while the one on Thursday was not to be lost. And today’s win allows us to recover a little bit”.
