Lecce market, tripled the value of Morten Hjulmand: three suitors

Morten Hjulmand represents one of the many masterstrokes of Pantaleo Corvino, who picked him up from the Austrians of Admira Wacker for less than 200,000 euros and sold him back to Sporting for 21 million euros after two and a half seasons in the Giallorossi.

The Danish midfielder has consolidated his reputation in Portugal and has done so with a series of top performances.

He is under contract until 2028 with the Lisbon green-and-whites but from England they are not letting up.

The 26-year-old’s player card is valued at 60 million euros: a challenging figure, three times what the Salentini collected in the summer of 2023. A figure, however, that does not scare off the two Manchester clubs, United and City, and Tottenham: one of these three clubs, in January, could bring the boy to the Premier League.
