La Liga 2025-2026: Betis-Atletico Madrid, the probable formations

The tenth round of La Liga, Spain’s top league, closes with the now classic ‘Monday Night’. Facing each other, at the Estadio del la Cartuja in Seville, host Betis and Atletico Madrid, in a challenge that pits two teams currently paired in fifth place with 16 points each, -2 from the Champions zone.

The green-and-whites’ path, so far, has been quite satisfactory: only one defeat, last August 31 against Athletic Bilbao, a promising start both in the league and in the Europa League. Coach Manuel Pellegrini won&#8217t be able to count on Pablo Garcia and Ortiz, in addition of course to the long-term injured Isco, and will rely on the lineup with a central point, Juan Hernandez, supported by Antony, Lo Celso and Ezzalzouli.

On the other side there&#8217s an Atletico capable of exciting results, such as the 5-2 in the derby against Real, and tremendous tumbles, such as the heavy 4-0 suffered at home to Arsenal in the Champions League. Diego Simeone is looking for continuity by relying on Sorloth and Alvarez in attack, as well as the defensive quartet composed of Llorente, Le Normand, Gimenez and Hancko.
