Serie B 2025-2026: Venezia-Südtirol, the likely lineups

Both reeling from a defeat in the ninth day of Serie B, Venezia and Südtirol seek redemption in the challenge scheduled for Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. at the ‘Penzo’ home of the Laggunarians. the two teams return to face each other a year and a half apart: the last time they faced each other was on Feb. 10, 2024, when Venezia conquered the ‘Druso’ with a clear 3-0.

Much has changed since then: relegated after one year in Serie A, the club now coached by Giovanni Stroppa has yet to pick up pace this season. The former Monza and Cremonese coach will rely on Yeboah and Adorante in attack, while Doumbia, in net against Carrarese, is expected to start from the bench, leaving room for Bohinen.

The club’s first team will be the first to be relegated to the Serie A.

On the other side, the Bolzano team is looking for its first success since September 27: in between, two draws and two defeats. On the bench, with Fabrizio Castori disqualified (he will serve the’last of the three rounds of suspension imposed after the match against Empoli), will sit again the deputy Riccardo Bocchini. On the field there will be space for Odogwu and Merkaj in attack, on the flanks will be Molina on the right and Simone Davi on the left.
