Milan market, not only Dovbyk: two more names for the attack

Acc Milan will be on the hunt for a center forward in the January market. The performance of Santiago Gimenez, the only real forward in coach Massimiliano Allegri’s squad, has so far disappointed. The Mexican is still without a goal in Serie A despite starting in 8 out of 9 games.

The Artem Dovbyk hypothesis has not gone away: in the summer, the Rossoneri management had proposed an exchange just with Gimenez at Roma but the negotiation had blown up due to the lack of agreement on the formula. The Ukrainian&#8217s lackluster performance in the Giallorossi could make the Capitolini change their minds and the exchange could go through in January.

Dovbyk is not the’only name being followed by the Rossoneri management for the attack: according to a report in La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Diavolo has set its sights on Joaquin Panichelli, an Argentine striker born in 2002, owned by Strasbourg with whom he has already scored 9 goals in 10 days in Ligue 1.

Finally, Milan also likes Jonathan Burkardt, a German center forward born in 2000 who arrived in the summer at Eintracht Frakfurt. He, too, started the season with a bang by scoring 9 goals in 10 appearances between Bundesliga and Champions League.
