Francisco Cerundolo ready for anything against Jannik Sinner

After a comfortable win in the opener with Zizou Bergs, Jannik Sinner is set to return to the court for the round of 16 at the Paris Masters 1000. The number two seed and ATP ranking will take on Francisco Cerundolo, world number 21.
The Argentine spoke this way to ATP microphones ahead of the challenge with the South Tyrolean: “He is one of the best in the world, without a doubt, along with Carlos Alcaraz. They have been dominating the circuit for two or three years, practically from start to finish. It will be an extraordinary test. I hope I can play great tennis, because he will force me to give everything. And I will have to be ready for that”.
“He is the best hitter on the circuit right now. He can do what he wants with the ball on both sides, so I can’t let him feel comfortable. I will have to serve very well, play very aggressively, try to command the exchange as much as possible, because he will take me to the limit. I am facing the best player in the world on indoor courts” Cerundolo concluded.
The Azure is ahead 3-2 in the previous round with the Argentine. On indoor concrete they have faced each other twice and both times it was Jannik who prevailed: in three sets in the Davis Cup group in 2022, in two sets in the round of 16 of the ATP 500 in Vienna in 2022
