Numia Vero Volleyball Milan, first victorious trip

Coach Lavarini’s Numia Vero Volley Milano is smiling, and thanks to a 0-3 (20-25; 23-25; 17-25) success over the hosts of Bartoccini-Mc Restauri Perugia, they find their first away win this season. Three precious points those put in the bag by Egonu and her teammates who move up to 13 points in the standings – fourth place for the meneghine – continuing the’pursuit of the top positions.
A downhill match offered by Numia, which in the first two fractions struggled to impose its game on a never tame Perugia that always managed to undermine the host lineup in the hottest moments of the set. In the third partial, however, without difficulty the rosablu were able to find the right understanding and – accomplice a’very good wall performance (6 monster blocks put on the ground in the fraction, 10 total ones) – to close the practice in less than an hour and a half of play. MVP of the challenge, and top scorer of the evening along with Egonu, the American Khalia Lanier who put up 13 points (including 1 wall and 1 ace), making herself the protagonist of a positive game in all the fundamentals. Bartoccini-Mc Restauri did not need just 11 points from a positive Gardini to try to snatch a set from the Milanese.
The Numia Vero Volley Milan is now already projected to the next match: in three days it will be challenge to Wash4green Monviso Volley, expected at the Allianz Cloud in Milan for the seventh day of the Regular Season. The scheduled date is set for Sunday, Nov. 2, with whistle at 3 p.m.
