Nothing to do for Paul Pogba: the French midfielder, who has been out of action for more than two years, has to postpone his return to the field again because of an injury. The former Juventus star was supposed to make his debut against Paris FC on Saturday night, but he was injured during the training session with Monaco: for him an ankle problem that came following a clash in the match.

In the Principality, questions are now being asked about the actual physical and mental fitness of the former French national team player, who last took the field on Sept. 3, 2023, with the Juventus jersey: then came the long disqualification and injuries that seem to be putting the player&#8217s final career at great risk.

Monaco, which signed him’at zero cost, is now doing some thinking about the player. “It is not easy for him, he told me. But I try to push him to see the bright side. If it were to be a two-week stop, it would be little compared to all that he has already overcome. The goal is to have him fully available after the international break” said Coach Pocognoli.
