Serie B: Palermo’s five-peat at Pescara, Frosinone joins Modena at the top

After two consecutive defeats, Palermo relaunched itself by thrashing Pescara 5-0 in one of today’s five matches of the 11th day of Serie B. At the Barbera, Pierozzi scored in the 23rd minute and 59th minute, Segre in the 47th minute, Brunori in the 72nd minute and Diakité in the 83rd minute.

In the other matches, Avellino’s 4-3 pyrotechnic win over Reggiana, with the Irpini coming back first from 0-1 and then from 2-3. Virtus Entella beat Empoli 1-0 with a goal by Tiritiello in the 86th minute. Finally, 1-1 between Padova and Südtirol.
