Italrugby, first training session in Udine ahead of Australia

First practice in Udine for the Italian Men’s National Team in preparation for their debut in the Quilter Nations Series. The Azzurri will face Australia at the Bluenergy Stadium in Udine on Saturday, November 8 at 6:40 p.m. with live coverage on Sky Sport and Rai channels.

Morning with the group working divided by departments between gym and meetings. In the early afternoon, the full group moved to the “Gerli” stadium – which will host a training session open to the public tomorrow morning, Tuesday, Nov. 4 – for a training session on the field with the full team at the disposal of the Azzurri technical staff.

“We are very focused ahead of the next game. There is a healthy competition in the group,” said Tommaso Di Bartolomeo in today’s press meeting, “which is certainly a stimulus for everyone. We will face three different teams from each other, but now our focus is solely on the next match against Australia.”

“We are working on various areas of the game optimizing our timing as best we can to make sure we are ready for our debut. I’m always trying to improve myself every day and to be above all useful to the team,” stressed the national team and Zebre hooker.
