Lambretta unveils big news at Eicma 2025

Ufficio Stampa

At EICMA 2025, the beating heart of the global two-wheel industry, Lambretta confirms its role as an absolute icon of Italian style and engineering.
In Hall 11, Stand I48, the legendary brand presents two new products that combine past and future:
Elettra S, the first electric scooter fully developed by Lambretta, a fusion of elegance, innovation and zero-emission performance, and the new Lambretta J, the highly anticipated production model inspired by the beloved J of 1964.

ELETTRA S – THE ELECTRICAL REBIRTH OF AN ICON

With the Elettra S, Lambretta enters the future with confidence and unmistakable style.

Born from the concept presented at EICMA 2023, the final “S” version represents a statement of refined sustainability – style with a purpose, innovation with a soul.

Under its sculpted steel body is a 4.0 kW continuous / 6.0 kW peak permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) with an extraordinary torque of 101 Nm, enabling the Elettra S to go from 0 to 40 km/h in just 10 seconds.

With a top speed of 90 km/h and a range of up to 120 km in Eco mode (three driving modes are provided, Eco, Normal and Sport), it is the most desirable urban electric scooter in its class.

Recharging is quick and easy: 5 hours and 40 minutes with a domestic outlet or 80% in just 3 hours and 24 minutes with fast charging.

The NMC 72V / 4.5 kWh battery ensures reliability, while the low weight of 132 kg, high-definition TFT display and full LED lighting complete a perfect balance of design and technology.

Lambretta’s engineering heritage is expressed in the tie-rod front fork with dual shock absorbers and, for the first time on a modern model, a single shock absorber at the rear, providing a unique and perfectly balanced ride.

“Elettra S is much more than an electric scooter, it is a statement of beauty, power and awareness,” says Walter Scheffrahn, president of Lambretta.

Market launch is planned for the second half of 2026, with a target price of €6,500

LAMBRETTA J – THE RETURN OF THE JUNIOR

Returning from one of the brand’s most beloved models, the Lambretta J embodies youthful spirit, Italian elegance and urban freedom.
Presented last year as a prototype, the J now debuts in its final version – ready to conquer the streets in 2026.

Each line pays homage to the original 1964 J, reinterpreted for a new generation.

The wide rectangular sides, hexagonal headlight, and long, slender seat recall the historic models, while the metal bodywork and twin shock-absorbing front tie-rod fork ensure the typical Lambretta riding feel.

Two advanced engines – 125cc and 200cc, four-stroke, four-valve, liquid-cooled – combine reliability and grit.

Elegant, lively and accessible, the J is the gateway to the Lambretta world: youthful energy wrapped in timeless design.

Market launch is scheduled for spring 2026, with an indicative starting price of €4,500

The RANGE – CELEBRATION OF TRADITION AND INNOVATION

At EICMA 2025, Lambretta presents a true symphony of design and engineering: G-Special Series (G350), the flagship model designed by Walter Scheffrahn and Peter Beselin, which redefines the concept of the premium classic scooter; X-Series (X300 & X125), futuristic, sharp and sporty, with diamond steel bodies that reinvent urban mobility; V-Special Series (50, 125, 200), the timeless models that have relaunched the brand’s success since 2017; Racing Customs by Rimini Lambretta, two special versions of G350 and X300 optimized for performance, pure expression of Lambretta’s racing DNA.

LAMBRETTA TODAY – WITHOUT TIME. FEARLESS. GLOBAL.

Guided by the vision of President Walter Scheffrahn, Lambretta enters a new era that celebrates purity of design, mechanical passion, and international expansion.
From Milan to Bangkok, from London to Jakarta, Lambretta continues to conquer the roads of Southeast Asia and Europe, proudly maintaining its Italian soul and establishing itself as a modern icon of mobility.
