L’Olimpia lost the lead in the LBA standings. The trip to the court of Leonessa Brescia ended in defeat, despite a monster performance by Brooks (28 points). The American, in his second year in the red and white, is becoming the team’s offensive reference point.

To the tune of applauding offensive performances, the’former Houston Rockets and Toronto Raptors, among others, has become essential to the offensive game of coach Messina who, compared to last season, has him playing with much more continuity, often entrusting him with the keys to Olimpia’s offense.

Also because, at the moment, Guduric is largely disappointing. The’former Fenerbahce star, billed as the best buyout of the biancorossa summer, is not impacting as he should and could. Even against Leonessa Brescia came a negative performance: five points with only four shots attempted and very few noteworthy plays.

True, it&#8217s still early in the season but the Serbian&#8217s situation is worrying. A player of his caliber cannot fail to demonstrate his immense class on the court. Coach Messina will surely be studying ways to get him more involved and, above all, unlock him mentally. This Olimpia Milano absolutely needs Guduric, a player who, when in top form, makes all the difference.
