ATP 250 Metz, Lorenzo Sonego in semifinals

Lorenzo Sonego, world number 42, clinched the semifinals of the ATP 250 on the indoor concrete of Metz by beating German Daniel Altmaier, number 45, in the quarterfinals with a score of 6-4 7-6.

A single break decides the first set and of course it is in favor of the Turinese at 2-2, Sonego then nullifies a counterbreak ball in the next game and does not lose a point again in the next two turnovers.

Altmaier saves three break points in the first game of the second set, two of them consecutive, saves another on 4-4 and three more, two of them consecutive, on 5-5.
