Ligue 1 2025-2026: Paris FC-Rennes, the probable formations

It will be the confrontation between Paris FC and Rennes that will open the twelfth day of Ligue 1, with the two teams starring in the traditional Friday night advance.

Newly promoted and surprisingly competitive Paris FC arrive at the match in high spirits after their feat against Monaco, which was decided by a Simon goal. Stéphane Gilli’s Parisians have picked up four points in their last two outings — a draw with Lyon and a win over the Monegasques — and are now aiming to extend the positive streak to consolidate their position in the standings.

On the opposite side, Rennes comes on the strength of the clear 4-1 triumph over Strasbourg in the last round, a result that actually restored oxygen and confidence to the team and coach Habib Beye. Prior to that match, in fact, the Rossoneri had not won since mid-September: five draws and one defeat had challenged the coach’s bench. The Paris trip, then, represents an important crossroads for the future of Rennes and its coach.
