Lorenzo Sonego rematched by Cameron Norrie, no final in Metz

Lorenzo Sonego was defeated with a score of 4-6 6-2 6-4 by Cameron Norrie (No. 27 in the rankings) in 2 hours and 2 minutes of play, in the semifinals of the ATP250 in Metz.
The Briton, in his 16th career final after also being world No. 8, will then play for the title against whoever comes out on top between Learner Tien of the United States and Vitaliy Sachko of Ukraine.
Sonego, who was looking for his second final in France after the one he won in 2022, can especially regret the two untaken break chances in the second set. From there the match turned in his opponent’s favor.
