Team VR46 centaur Fabio Di Giannantonio analyzed his Friday free practice session in Portimao, which ended in seventh place: “I am happy, because we made a very good plan of the day to understand well what is the direction to take and overcome the difficulties we had this year in tuning the bike”.
“The plan worked, with the direct Q2 we achieved Friday’s goal and we also have a pretty clear idea about the tires to use”, continued the Valentino Rossi team rider.
“We really did a great job in the box, but also the performance was good, I am not far from the top. We are working to further improve the confidence on the front to optimize more corner entry”, concluded Di Giannantonio, who is chasing his third podium of the season.
