Team Gresini: Alex Marquez enjoys his second place.

Team Gresini centaur Alex Marquez commented positively on his performance in the Grand Prix of Portugal, which ended in second place: “At the beginning of the race I tried to follow Marco Bezzecchi, but I quickly realized that today would be tough. I held the position trying to manage the front”.

“In the final I was struggling just on the front especially in the final part. I had fun and overall it was a very positive weekend”.

His teammate Fermin Aldeguer, fourth, also smiles: “It was a good race, we definitely did better than yesterday where we had already done well. I didn’t expect the race lead to turn so fast, but we had a very positive Sunday and with a better qualifying we would have been in the game. We are gaining experience and continuing to grow: it is not easy to be fast at every circuit but we are at least always trying”.
