L'Italy for the World Cup slaloms in Levi

The FISI has released Italy’s call-up list for the World Cup slaloms in Levi to be held next weekend, the women’s race is scheduled on the Finnish Levi Black on Saturday 15, the men’s on Sunday 16.

There will be seven Italian nationals competing: Annette Belfrond, Giorgia Collomb, Lara Della Mea, Emilia Mondinelli, Alice Pazzaglia, Beatrice Sola and Giulia Valleriani.

Neither Marta Rossetti, who is missing the entire season due to a knee injury, nor Martina Peterlini, who is completing rehabilitation after a knee cleanup operation.

In contrast, Sola returns from a knee injury after nearly a year, while Belfrond makes her narrow-door debut after competing in two giants three years ago.

The men in the gate will be six: Corrado Barbera, Matteo Canins, Tobias Kastlunger, Tommaso Saccardi, Tommaso Sala, also returning to competition after exactly one year off, and Alex Vinatzer.
