Among the names on the notebooks of the big names is that of one of the surprises of this early season, Udinese midfielder Arthur Atta. The Bianconeri midfield joker is distinguishing himself in this his second year in Italy and also scored his first goal, last August 31 in the home win over Inter.

It is Inter that is one of the three Italian clubs that have allegedly expressed interest in the Frenchman: the others are Juventus and Napoli, all on the hunt for a midfielder to add to their roster perhaps as early as January, trying to anticipate competition that, as ‘TMW’ reports, also comes from the Premier League, with Manchester City in pole position, and La Liga, with Barcelona probing the ground.

The market value of the 2003-born, according to data from ‘Transfermarkt’, has risen from 1 to 12 million euros in the space of a year, and should his performances be confirmed at high levels the figures are bound to rise. Interested clubs will therefore have to try to play d’advance, perhaps supplementing the economic offer with a technical quid pro quo.

Born on January 14, 22 years ago in Rennes, France, Arthur Atta completed in his hometown club the youth trafilament, then moved to Metz where, between first and second team, he attracted the attention of Udinese’s scouts. His Serie A debut was dated Sept. 28, 2024 (Udinese-Inter 2-3); this season he scored not only in the league but also in the Coppa Italia in the 2-0 win over Carrarese on Aug. 18.
