Jannik Sinner spoke at a press conference after his third victory in just over two weeks over Alexander Zverev in the Group ‘Bjorn Borg‘ of the ATP Finals. Thanks to this success, the Blue has already earned a spot in the semifinals in Turin.

The South Tyrolean shined on serve with as many as 12 aces made: “I don&#8217t necessarily look for the ace– Jannik admitted in the press conference -, there are also the body serve or the kick with which you know you don&#8217t win the point right away but you need it for the next shot to put your opponent off balance. It depends a little bit on’ how you play, you have to be smart and not serve the same way all the time. I am serving with a good percentage especially in the important points and that makes a difference on indoor courts”.

Before the start of the tournament Darren Cahill stated that he will stay by Sinner&#8217s side in 2026 if the world number two wants him to. In this regard Jannik did not give his opinion: “We haven&#8220t talked yet, let”s play this tournament first and then we”.

He closed on Carlos Alcaraz-Lorenzo Musetti, scheduled for tomorrow night, which also interests the South Tyrolean because of the issue related to the world number one: “Tomorrow I have my quiet dinner, I don&#8217t turn on the TV. Then if they are still playing, I like to watch tennis also as a spectator. I don”t think about number one, it”s been an incredible season, I”m at 12 tournaments with this, it”s been a crazy season from my point of view, so if he deserves it I”m happy for him”.
