Frank Zambo Anguissa, injured on the national team, underwent instrumental examinations today at Pineta Grande Hospital that revealed a high-grade hamstring injury in his left thigh.

The injury will probably keep the Azzurri midfielder out of action for at least two months but it is not ruled out that the stop could extend up to three. He will still miss the Super Cup scheduled in Saudi Arabia before Christmas.

His return to the field is therefore expected indicatively for the beginning of next year: in fact, the former Fulham midfielder’s 2025 season can already be considered over.

Among the names on the notebooks of the bigs is also that of one of the surprises of this early season, Udinese midfielder Arthur Atta. The Bianconeri midfield joker is distinguishing himself in this his second year in Italy and also scored his first goal, last August 31 in the home win over Inter.

It is Inter’s one of the three Italian clubs that have reportedly expressed interest in the Frenchman: the others are Juventus and Napoli, all on the hunt for a midfielder to add to their roster perhaps as early as January.
