World Cup Qualification 2026: England-Serbia, the likely lineups

England and Serbia take the field at 8:45 p.m. for the match valid for Group K of the European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. The hosts have already qualified for the World Cup after a perfect run: six wins in six matches, 18 goals scored and zero conceded. However, coach Tuchel will not tolerate any slumps and has already warned his stars that they will have to be serious against a Serbia that is instead highly motivated and in the hunt for second place in the standings, currently occupied by Albania. The standings read: England 18, Albania 11, Serbia 10, Latvia 5 and Andorra 1.
Kane will be England’s offensive point man; on the back three Tuchel will deploy Saka, Rashford and one of Bellingham and Rodgers. In the midfield Anderson is paired with Rice, the full-backs are Spence and James.
