Marco Bezzecchi thanks Aprilia and sends a message to Ducati
Marco Bezzecchi in Valencia could make his third place in the rainbow standings arithmetic: to do so, resisting the’possible chase of Pecco Bagnaia, he only needs two points. But that is not all, because the Romagna dell’Aprilia will present himself at the final appointment of 2025 dressing the role of the big favorite of the weekend. A role for which he wanted to publicly thank the team as early as Thursday press conference.
“I don“t know if in Valencia I will really be the rider to beat, true is that we show up here already with a very good mood in the pits – said Bezzecchi -. In Portimao everything went great, but now we have to focus on this Grand Prix. That’s why I want to work well from the start, we want to be competitive again”.
“I think back to the Jerez test at the beginning of the year, and we have taken a big step forward since then. 2025 has been a long year, but an extremely positive one. I consider it a really important season for me, one that has made me grow as a rider. Plus I was able to build a really good relationship with both the Aprilia team and the Noale factory”.
The big dream, at this point, is to grow more in preparation for 2026. “I have a hard time pointing to a single area where I would like to see improvements. We riders would always want developments in every area, but maybe it would be nice to have a better top speed. Making comparisons with Ducati is difficult, because I don’t know how they work or what the characteristics of their bike are. But we know what we want, to continue to improve and fight for the top”, concluded Bezzecchi.
