From the track to movie theaters: Ambra Sabatini meets the public to tell her extraordinary story of sports, courage and rebirth.

The Paralympic athlete will be the protagonist of two special appointments: at The Space Cinema Grosseto, Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 6:30 p.m., and at The Space Cinema Florence, Friday, Nov. 28 at 6:30 p.m., on the occasion of the screening of the docufilm “Ambra Sabatini – A meter from the finish line”.

The two events represent a’special opportunity to bring the public closer to the world of Paralympic sports through a direct testimony of extraordinary strength and positivity. In fact, before each screening, Ambra will greet the audience in the hall, sharing reflections and anecdotes about her sports and personal experience.

The 60-minute film traces the most significant stages of the champion’s life and career: from the life-changing accident in 2019, to the gold medal and world record she won in the 100 meters at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, to the recent international challenges culminating with her participation in the Paris 2024 Paralympics.

An authentic and engaging tale that restores the energy and determination of a young athlete capable of transforming a tragedy into a starting point, becoming a symbol for Italian sport and for the new generations.

Directed by Mattia Ramberti, the docufilm is a Giffoni Innovation Hub and BlackBox Srl co-production, made in collaboration with Autostrade per l’Italia, which has chosen Ambra Sabatini as testimonial for its road safety campaigns. The project was realized with the support of Accenture Song.
