Market, Joshua Zirkzee on the radar of three Serie A bigwigs

When he left Bologna in the summer of 2024, Joshua Zirkzee was convinced he could make his mark on Manchester United. After a really complicated first season, with only seven goals scored and a lot of bench time, the 2001-born striker started the new year even more struggling.
To date, he has collected four Premier League appearances and one in the English League Cup for a total of only 90′ on the pitch and zero goals. In short, Joshua Zirkzee is not at the center of the Manchester United project, so much so that, in England, many are advocating his farewell, perhaps as early as January.
The Dutch center forward has left excellent memories in Serie A. In the 2022/23 season, he scored 12 goals with Bologna, showing that he has class to spare. It is normal that there are Italian clubs interested. First and foremost, keep an eye on Roma. Gian Piero Gasperini, also complicit in the injury to Artem Dovbjk, is looking for a new striker for January and the’former Felsinean could be the best solution.
Beware also of Juventus. The possible transfer of Jonathan David could open up a lot of discussions on the Bianconeri offensive department, always waiting to see what Dusan Vlahovic will do. Finally, Milan would badly need a center forward with the characteristics of Joshua Zirkzee but, first, an excellent transfer would be needed. Who will come out on top?
