Milan market, the'interview you don't expect from Robert Lewandowski

On the sidelines of yesterday’s match between Poland and the Netherlands, Robert Lewandowski stopped in the mixed zone to talk to the journalists present. The Barcelona center forward commented on his national team’s performance, the group’s momentum and the outlook for upcoming international engagements.
But, contrary to what might have been expected, no market topic was touched upon. More importantly, no one asked him about the alleged interest of AC Milan, which has been fueling headlines and discussions for days.
Lewandowski focused exclusively on the match against the Netherlands, analyzing the difficulties encountered, the room for improvement and the work Poland will have to do to regain continuity at the international level. He spoke about compactness, mental approach and the great importance of the upcoming matches, also praising some of his teammates for their commitment.
None of the correspondents, however, raised the question of the market. No questions about the future, no references to rumors or negotiations, no approaches to Milan: the entire discussion took place in an atmosphere totally focused on the national team.
