Ferrari, the advice all of a sudden: "Drop Hamilton and take Bearman"

Lewis Hamilton out of Ferrari, with Oliver Bearman in his place. That’s the advice the Maranello team has been given from a distance by someone who boasts a surname with gigantic weight in the history of the Cavallino: Ralf Schumacher. The Kaiser’s younger brother, who continues to cover Formula 1 for ‘Sky Deutschland’ seemed to have no doubts about a ’cascomarket” operation that in his opinion would only bring advantages.

“Regarding Lewis Hamilton, I think his situation in Ferrari should be analyzed in only one way. He has good speed, but nothing more. On the other hand, he is making a lot of mistakes – was Ralf Schumacher&#8217s analysis. On the other hand, I can&#8217t help but notice the young Bearman, who is amazing in Haas”.

“I wonder if the problems Hamilton is going through stem only from the car or if everything is now going too fast for him. From a driver of his profile I would expect more – added the younger of the Schumacher brothers -, and if I were a Ferrari manager I would think it is not working. At that point maybe I would prefer to go further, throwing a young promise like Bearman” into the team.

“Let us also reflect on the fact that Bearman costs a fraction as much as Hamilton. We are talking about figures in excess of 60 million a’year. I doubt that John Elkann could afford such a situation. Of course, hiring Lewis was his decision, but perhaps after a year he might think that everything remained as it was at the starting tapes. And, who knows, at this point he might even consider giving Bearman a salary and that seat”.
