Pecco Bagnaia spoke to the microphones of Sky Sports after the’umpteenth crash of the season that forced him to retire in the Grand Prix of Valencia: “It was very consistent with the end of the season, more could not be expected. The race lasted 25 seconds, in those 25 seconds I passed six, so I was quite happy up to there”.

“Then fortunately I realized that a white thunderbolt was coming – he added on the’incident with Johann Zarco – If I hadn&#8217t remounted the bike the consequences would have been much more difficult to handle. On the braking point he was a bit optimistic, but we are all human and we all make mistakes, I made a mistake in the past today he made a mistake, it is a race that sums up the final part of my season”.

“Definitely in a season like this where things have gone like this, especially in the last part, you come in tired, exhausted and everybody makes mistakes. As I said yesterday, I made a lot of them and every now and then it also happens to the team to make some, it is normal, it can happen, we are human and it can happen”.

“Definitely the tests on Tuesday I hope will serve a lot to give a direction, to start to have a base that works as I expect and not like the last period, or at any rate like the whole season, where I never managed in any situation, apart from a test and a race to find myself well, so I hope that we can find the feeling of that race” concluded Bagnaia.
