World Cup Qualification 2026: Malta-Poland, the likely lineups

On Monday night Malta will host Poland at the Ta’Qali National Stadium in the match valid for the next World Cup qualifiers. The hosts have already been eliminated (5 points in 7 matches), the guests are 3 points behind the Netherlands but there’s a huge gap in goal difference.
Emilio De Leo still wants to close out the experience as best he can and will aim for the big blow against Lewandowski and co. To do so, he decided to rely on Cardona as an offensive reference, supported by Mbong, Grech and Chouaref. Guillaumier and Satariano will act as a dike in front of the defense formed by Corbalan, Shaw, Carragher and Beerman with Bonello between the posts.
Jan Urban wants to win to better prepare for the upcoming playoffs. Dragowski between the posts, helped by Wisniewski, Kedziora and Kiwior. Cash and Skoras on the side lanes, in the middle space for Slisz and Zielinski. Up front Szymanski and Kaminski will act on either side of Robert Lewandowski.
