Acc Milan soccer market: a big name from the past could return to the Rossoneri in January, or at least that could be one of his options for the immediate future. We are talking about Thiago Silva, one of the symbols of the 2011 Scudetto who has meanwhile returned to Brazil but intends to return to Europe for family reasons.

Thiago Silva has been wearing the Fluminense jersey since July 2024, after the conclusion of his spell at Chelsea. According to reports from ‘Jornal O Globo’ sources, however, the return home for him was only partial. The central carioca’s life has now been developed in Europe for more than 15 years: hence the desire to return to the Old Continent, without, moreover, hanging up his boots. L’former captain of the greenoro national team, in fact, still sees the day of his retirement as far away. And starting again with Milan represents more than just an option.

After all, even in Italy there have been rumors for a few days about a possible return to the Rossoneri of Thiago Silva. It was his prosecutor who had put the brakes on such a hypothesis, specifying that the player will not be free on a zero-parameter basis from Fluminense in December (he will do so in June 2026). His desire to change air, however, could facilitate an’operation that for the Diavolo would not represent a mere nostalgia appeal.

In fact, it is not irrelevant to point out that Thiago Silva was one of the great protagonists of the Scudetto that Milan won in 2011, moreover the last one to date with Massimiliano Allegri at the helm of the meneghini. A key aspect, however, is the fact that the center-back still boasts an enviable physical and athletic condition despite turning 41 last September. In addition, his arrival would bring an undoubted wealth of experience and charisma among the Rossoneri, whose main obstacle would be possible offers from France and especially England. In fact, the sons of the experienced player themselves wear the Chelsea jersey.
