In one hour and ten minutes, Allianz Milano completed its first 3-0 win of the season at the Cloud against Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina in the midweek recovery of the sixth day of Superleague.

25-17 25-18 25-21 the set partials. Decisive were the Milan attack, 56 percent against the host’s 45 percent, and hitting errors, 11 against 14, but reception was the fundamental that worked best for coach Roberto Piazza’s team.

25 points by Reggers, 19 by Recine, 18 18 by Otsuka, on the other side 29 by Golzadeh and 24 by Magalini. MVP Kreling, Milan’s setter. Here are his words after the match.

“I think we played a good match tonight, a very different challenge from the win in Padua. Our intensity level increased. We always kept the energy very high throughout our game. In the last away game, however, we had dropped a little bit as we went along.”

“These were very important points for us: we knew we had to get three points, a full win, and we did. To be 100 percent with this Milan, in my opinion we still need a couple of weeks of training to find a little more feeling between us, however, things are already going very well.”

“We have reached a point where we know each other: we know more or less what happens in every situation and also how to give each other a hand in difficult moments. In my opinion, we need to continue to stay together and work, and things will get even better.”
