Thiago Motta has turned down another offer: the former Juventus coach, according to Tuttosport reports, has said no to a proposal that arrived a few weeks ago from Spartak Moscow, which is looking for a successor to Dejan Stankovic.

Motta thus remains on the payroll of Juventus, which has him under contract until June 2027 for a salary of 5.5 million euros gross per season, plus compensation to the technical staff.

After the negative experience in Turin, Motta reportedly declined proposals from other teams such as Monaco and Real Sociedad. Juventus currently has three coaches under contract: in addition to Motta, there’s also current Bianconeri coach Luciano Spalletti and Igor Tudor, who was exonerated at the end of October.

The club has a new coach.
