Series B, special initiative for the day against violence against women

On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, which will fall on November 25, the Lega Serie B presented “B4LOVE” a series of initiatives that will be promoted on the sidelines of the thirteenth day of the cadet championship, which will kick off on Friday with Catanzaro-Pescara and conclude on Monday with Sampdoria–Juve Stabia.

The twenty Serie B teams will take the field with a special red ball (the symbolic color of the Day), which before the match will be handed over to a representative of each club in the name of respecting, protecting and safeguarding women’s rights, emphasizing the importance of building relationships based on awareness and responsibility.

The project’s official video will also be released, featuring the words of such history-making women as Alda Merini, Michela Murgia and Lidia Ravera. “With ‘B4LOVE’ – explain the organizers of the’initiative– Lega Serie B confirms its willingness to use soccer as a tool for positive change, promoting culture, inclusion and education”.

The stadiums that will serve as the stage for the’initiative are Ceravolo for Catanzaro-Pescara, Partenio-Lombardi for Avellino-Empoli, Stadio dei Marmi for Carrarese-Reggiana, Comunale di Chiavari for Virtus Entella-Palermo, l’Euganeo for Padova-Venezia, the San Nicola for Bari-Frosinone, the Martelli for Mantova-Spezia, the Braglia for Modena-Südtirol, the Brianteo for Monza-Cesena and the Ferraris for Sampdoria-Juve Stabia.
