Davis Cup, Germany folds Argentina and goes to semifinals against Spain

Germany beat Argentina 2-1 in the last Davis Cup quarterfinal at the SuperTennis Arena in BolognaFiere. The match ended well after midnight.
In the first singles match, Argentine Tomas Martin Etcheverry, world number 60, bent German Jan-Lennard Struff, number 100, in two sets that ended in a tie-break in two hours and 3 minutes.
Then, in the second singles match, ATP number 3 Alexander Zverev beat Francisco Cerundolo, number 21, with a score of 6-4 7-6 in one hour and 35 minutes.
Decisive doubles, which Kevin Krawietz and Tim Puetz won in a comeback after a two-hour, 29-minute battle with a score of 4-6 6-4 7-6 (12-10 the final tie-break) over Andres Molteni and Horacio Zeballos on the fifth match point, after the South Americans had missed three.
In the semifinals Germany will face Spain tomorrow, which is known to be without Carlos Alcaraz. Today, however, in the first semifinal Italy will face Belgium.
